September 2016

September was a slower month.  We thought baby would come early and join us in September, but he has decided to be stubborn and grow.  Really that is a good thing.  Beside having my belly grow super big, we did manage to get out and play.  September here in the Valley put on both the rodeo and fair.  This year the rodeo was super exciting because Savannah did the Mutton Bustton.  Micah tried out as well, but pick a sheep that trew him right off.  Yet, he did manage to be in the paper the next day.  Eli has started preschool and went to the fair as a field trip.  Next year, we are going to participate in the fair.  Leif took the kids on a few fishing trips and leaf jumping adventures.  We also did lots of bike rides and walks.  The weather is getting really nice.  It has been a good month. 

August

After Depot Bay the rest of the month was quite and relaxing.  We stayed in Clarkston and enjoyed the amenities that it has to offer.  We took many trips to the river and aquatic center.  We also got to enjoy the Summer Olympics.  School started August 23rd. This year the kids are in 1st grade.  They were super excited to start.

Depot Bay

Our annual Kanooth vacation took place this year in Depoe Bay, OR.  We have been there before but this year our days were filled with more adventures.  Andrea, Alli, Savannah and I got to go whale watching.  While on the boat everyone was looking one way and Savannah says, "I see a whale".  We all turn around and sure enough Savannah found a huge whale on the other side of the boat.  Micah got to go crabbing with all the boys.  Daddy and him had a blast.  We went to the ocean twice.   Eli was yelling at the waves, "You can't watch me!" He would then run away after each wave came up.  The cousins sure did love playing with each other.  Eli and Harper were so cute.  It was a great trip.
