Ivy Kate Brooks

We have a new niece named, Ivy Kate Brooks She was born September 12, 2013 weighing 7lbs 1oz & 20 in.   Her mamma did the delivery all natural!!! We are excited for this addition to our family.  It will be fun having cousins so close in age. Congrats to the Brooks.

Underwater Babies

Yes, my little Micah can swim all by himself.  He LOVES going under the water and picking up objects.  He doesn't yet know how to lift his head out of the water for air, so he prefers his floaters.  But he does love water, and Savannah too!!!

Day on The Pontoon!!

Our adopted Grandparents took our family out for a "Boating Day on the Pontoon."  This was the first time our kids had ever been on a boat, and the first time Leif & I had been on a pontoon.  Normally when we "go boating" it is purely for wake-boarding, skiing, or tubing.  This was the first time we just boated.... and it was so much fun!!!   We saw a lot of wild life, enjoyed the scenery, ate good food, and even got to swim.

Micah & Savannah were so comfortable on the boat.  Micah drove with Bob most of the time while Savannah made her way around the boat looking at every angle.  Every boat we passed the twins waved to, and then enjoyed rocking in their waves!  The twins were sure to point out ever bird, while Becki pointed out every dolphin.

At one point we spotted a whole family of dolphins.  There were around 12 dolphins swimming in circles around our boat.  There was a baby and mommy along with one "show off" dolphin.  This show off had caught a flounder.  He would throw the fish in the air and then try to catch it... over and over.  Many times we saw a dolphin jump.  I truly felt like I was at Sea World.

Our destination was a Three Rooker Island.  It is a house-shoe island above Honeymoon State Park.  And since it is in the shape of a horse-shoe there were no waves.  The twins has so much fun swimming around and under the boat.  The water felt like a bath tub.  It was the perfect destination, that only added to our perfect day.
Thanks Bob & Becki for a great day!!!

Our little man

Our "Little Man" is growing.  He loves to do cart-wheels and jumping-jacks all day long.  He sometimes jumps on my bladder just for fun.  Yet, I am very thankful for her crazy movements, because it reminds me that he is alive and doing well.  We are now way over half way and are looking forward to meeting our little man.  The twins love to kiss my belly and talk to their brother.

Museum Days

When Leif works nights... we try to get out of the house for most the day.  He comes home around 7:00 a.m and wants to sleep until he works again at 5:00.  SO we normally have to fill our days pretty full (coming home around 3:00 for naps).  Last week we spent 2 of our 4 days at museums, and the other 2 in the pool.  The twins had a lot of fun playing around in both Great Explorations and MOSI.  They are two little sponges and have so much fun building new thing and learning new concepts.  I truly LOVE being a stay-at-home-mother.  It gives me so much joy to be with my children and watch them grow.  I love seeing them advance in their knowledge of both earthly and spiritual concepts.
