10 months

Looks who's 10 months old on September 8th.   I sure to love this boy.  The months are going by all too fast.

preschool

The twins started a Co-OP Preschool.  I saw a message on facebook that some moms wanted to start a preschool.  I was so excited to join and then I found out that all 4 mothers were LDS.  Together we meet and made up a curriculum.  We now get together 2 times a week for 3 hours.  The parents take turn teaching and we learn a letter each week.  There are 3 boys and 2 girls (Savannah and Suzannah!!!)   What I love best about this is... it gives me time to be alone with Eli.  It also give me time to work out.  I am excited to get to know these mothers and have the twins meet new friends.

friends

After 5 years I finally got to meet up with an old friend.  Carrie and I were room-mate in college.  We lived together, went to church together and worked together.  We have many memories.  AND it was so good getting together with her.  She is the type of friend where you just pick up where you left.  I'm so excited to be closer to her.

Savannah made a new friend that she always talks about now.  Katie goes to sunbeams with here and was born on the same day.  That makes them triplets.  We went to their home last week to make cupcakes and frankinstines.  These girls had a blast playing together.  And to top it off her mother is Dianna, someone who I know will become my good friend.

boating

Leif was hired with another LDS member, named Dr. Greene. They have enjoyed working together and wanted to get our families together.  SO we did.   The Greene's are borrowing their parents boat, and we got to enjoy it with them.  The twins had never been tubing before and truly enjoyed it.  Leif got to finally wake-board again.  And Eli got to enjoy the wind in his hair.  It was a truly fun afternoon and I know the Greene's are going to become our good friends.

Lewiston Roundup

The Lewiston Roundup comes to Lewiston once a year.  Our new friends, Dianna & Nathan are hard core rodeo fans.  They invited us "only if" we agreed to sit on the front row with them.  We agreed and then realized that the front row equals dirt!  Dianna explained all the events to us.  I never realized all the rules that go into a rodeo.  The twins loved the bull riding.  Eli loved the French fries.  Leif and I loved the company of our new friends.  It was a fun night.

The Lewiston parade was the next day.  There were Sooo many horses and candy and candy and candy.  The twins had a blast.  Eli had his first sucker.  2 hours later it was over!!!

family reunion

Mathew, Daryn and baby Millie flew up to Spokane for a weekend.  So I got to drive up and see them.  This was my first time meeting little Millie. It was so fun watching her and Eli play together.  Daddy had the pool heated just for our babies, and everyone had so much fun swimming.  We also went to Cour d' Alene for an afternoon and got to play around the lake.  I sure do love my family.  I am so happy to live back in the west.

The very next weekend we drove to Milton-Freewater for an Edvalson Reunion.  All the cousins put tents up in the backyard and/or slept throughout the house.  We spend 3 days together eating, playing, and talking about old times.  It was such a nice weekend. Some of these cousins I hadn't seen in years.  And the nice thing about cousins is.. it's family.  You just pick up where you left off.  It was a great weekend.

all the cousins

The 4 year old cousins had a blast playing together.  It was so cute seeing Micah and Savannah have an instant love for these cousins.

our trampoline

Our back-yard is full of weeds, and not very kid friendly.  SO we thought it would be a good idea to get them a trampoline.  Grandpa agreed and got it for us as a housewarming gift.   And it is a gift that will be put to good use.

Leif's poor hands after assembling the tampoline

After the trampoline was put up.... we got to sleep outside under the stairs.  The twins had sooo much fun playing all night and then crashing under their blankets.  Leif and I both went inside around midnight, but both kids made it through the night.

around the house

It's the end of August and we have now lived in Clarkston for over one month!!!  After one month it is safe to say... we like it here.  The town has enough activities to keep us busy.  They have awesome running trails.  The library are great.  And I am starting to get more creative in our "at home" activates.  We are still doing a letter each day at home and for I we made "home-made" ice-cream.

Eli is getting into everything.

Savannah hugged her daddy and said, "Mommy, take a pictures."  She loves her Daddy.

AND our little guy turned 9 months on August 8th.  He is a busy little guy and full of energy.  We sure do love him.
