Savannah loves to read books.  She has me read them to her. She reads them to Eli and Micah.  And today I found her reading them to her animals.  Such a sweet girl.

Some little boy is standing up ALL THE TIME.  He loves standing on his own and does so every chance he gets.  He will be walking soon.

 

 He also has decided that he doesn't like baby food anymore.  He wants to feed himself.  And he will eat anything and everything as long as it's small enough to fit in his mouth!!!

 We have been blessed to have company come visit us already!!!  Now that we only live 90 miles from my parents these visits can happen a lot more regular.

 

My father came up for a short 2 day visit all by himself (mom was away at Josett's).  It was nice to have just Daddy here.  It was super hot but we still managed to get out.  We went to the park, went swimming at Hells Gate, and spent the evening rock-climbing. 

 

I sure to love my Daddy.

Daddy gave Savannah a tackle box and she carried it with her everywhere.

 

 

Hells Gate Trip

 

A couple weeks later Dad came up again this time bringing Mom, Kjersti, Seth, Uncle Steven and my cousin Matt.  Together we toured Hells Gate on a river boat ride.  It was a 6 hour ride up and down the canyon.  And it was beautiful (even though it's name is Hell's Gate!!).  We saw lots of wide-life, beautiful rock formation, rapids, and more.  It was fun visiting with each other and enjoying the ride.

 The next day we enjoyed Beachfront Beach, picked black-berries, and went out to pizza.  I sure do love my family.  Being a mother makes me appreciate my Mommy and Daddy so much more.  I look forward to all our visits in the next coming years.
