July 2015

July was a full month.  It started off with the best holiday ever, July 4th.  Our 4th of July started off with a Ward Breakfast at Beachview Park.  We then went to Pioneer Park for a family Fun Day, saw Leif at work, went to the Collin's for a BBQ & fireworks,  headed off to Clarkston High School to watch the Fireworks, and then went to the King's to light off MORE fireworks.  It was truly a fun-filled-crazy-day.

During the second week of July we went camping at Glacier National Park which was so beautiful.  I sure love camping and the kids are really starting to love it too.

Grandma & Grandpa Kanooth came down during the 3rd week of July to help watch the kids.  I then headed off to Girls Camp, leaving little Eli for the first time ever!!  Tom and Jeanne did a great job with the kids and also took care of Leif.  The highlight of their visit was Jeanne talking Leif into buying a deep-freezer!! Girls camp was a lot of work, but a lot of fun.  I met some awesome girls, and leaders.  Dianna Collins, Amy Harper, and Karrie Smith were the other leaders, and I truly grew to love them.  Plus we all shared a tent, which made me feel like a little girl again.   Our camp name was, "The Lemon-Aides".   We were yellow and stood for good works.  12 girls came.  My goal was to personally get to know each and have their testimony grow.  I think that came true.

As I was at girls camp, Lori was in Spokane.  She then drove down to Clarkston and spent 3 days with us here in the Valley.  We had so much fun; getting free lunches, going bowling, visiting theriver, watching movies, fishing, and cooking together.  Savannah grew to love Rachel. Micah and Macy got along great.  And little Eli loved Ruby.  We then all drove over to Siverwood and then back to Spokane for a few days.   Mike flew into town and I also got to see my niece Alexis, who lives with Joe now.   It was a great month.
